We occupy the full breadth of the pellet supply chain from buying raw wood fibre and manufacturing wood pellets all within the UK. As one of the UK’s largest wood pellet manufacturers we can provide multi-year, fixed price fuel supply contracts.
Our wood pellets only contain sustainable feedstock, sourced from UK forests, providing a reliable long-term fuel source to our customers.
We are an accredited Biomass Suppliers’ List (BSL) source of wood pellets, are FSC®-certified (FSC-C120441) and use FSC®-certified sources of wood fibre either in the form of sawmill co-products and surplus logs.
We offer a quick and efficient delivery service which can transport bulk wood pellets direct to you in a variety of different formats and vehicles.
It is this hard graft and attention to detail by our production team that has earned our reputation as a premium pellet producer.
The cornerstone of our supply chain is our wood pellet production plant situated on the South West coast of Scotland in the picturesque Small Dumfries and Galloway town of Lochmaben. The plant was developed and built by Border Biofuels and is adjacent to the Galloway National Forest, the largest forested area in the UK.

100% coniferous wood* (without bark) results in:
- 60% sawn timber
- 40% sawmill by-products
- 26% wood chips
- 12% sawdust
- 2% other
The principle of sustainability has been in force since 1713. Only as much is taken from the forest as is constantly growing back. Forest areas have been increasing for years because more is growing back than is being used.
*More than 95% of the sawing in the UK sawmills is made of softwood.

ENplus A1 Wood Pellets
Our bagged Pellets are all ENplus A1 certified and BSL accredited so meet the criteria for Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) approval.
Kiln Dried Hard and Soft wood
BSL Hardwood and Soft firewood are available, both barn-dried and kiln-dried down to an average of 15% moisture or lower if required.
Wood Briquettes & Heat Logs
Wood briquettes and heat logs are excellent substitutions for firewood. With a cylindrical shape to firewood, they are perfect for stoves and fireplaces.
Bulk Lumpwood Charcoal
Charcoal is a type of biofuel. Coal is produced by pyrolysis of wood - thermal decomposition of wood without access to oxygen.
EPAL Euro Pallets
We are certified manufacturer of new wooden euro pallets (EPAL). Our facilities allow us to provide our customers with large quantities of standard-quality products within a short period of time.
